I have been grooming since 1983, I learned at the grooming table and ringside at dog shows by Professional Handlers, most of the persons that taught me grooming, went on to win Best in Shows(BIS) many time through their lifetimes. I have been grooming since 1983, I learned at the grooming table and ringside at dog shows by Professional Handlers, most of the persons that taught me grooming, went on to win Best in Shows(BIS) many time through their lifetimes. I had started grooming several years before I started showing, over the years I have won many BIS, handled professionally, judged at dog shows, resides on the American Kennel Club Board of Delegates, board of directors for the Rapid City Kennel Club and the Charleston kennel Club, worked with various judges ring stewarded for more shows than I can remember, Taught beginning obedience classes, hosted handling seminars. During this time I raised a family, became a RN, BSN retired after 33 years. Went back in to the world of dogs, owned a pet supplies and grooming shop. Have had a private kennel for the past 22 years, Developing a winning line of Pomeranians. Tammy has completed the A.K.C. safe salon certification, grooming product training, is in the process of completing a feline grooming certification and I’ve St. Benard Pet estitean license as soon as Covid will allow competition. 🐾
